Who we are
The Long Rock venue is a benchmark for big fans of national and international rock and pop music.
Its walls are adorned with the great stars of rock, complementing the carefully designed décor in a spacious venue with enough room to host high-quality concerts.
History
A group of mates in Linares, more boisterous than talented, decided that their rehearsal space was too small for them.
Over beers, off-key chords and lots of laughs, they began to wonder: ‘What if the night has something better in store for us than these four walls?’
With more cobwebs than money in their pockets and the excitement of children opening presents on Christmas morning, they set off into the night. First dive: a bouncer the size of a wardrobe tells them, ‘You’re not coming in with those trainers on!’ They were shocked. They had the coolest trainers in the neighbourhood! But no, the door was closed.
They continued their pilgrimage and, attracted by neon lights like moths to a flame, they thought: ‘This is it, this is where the party is.’ Wrong. Unbearable music, mediocre atmosphere… and back out onto the street again.
And so, bar after bar, bouncer after bouncer, party after party, they gradually lost heart. Until, defeated but lucid, they returned to their local. And that’s when it dawned on them: ‘Mate, if we take away all the bad stuff we’ve had to put up with tonight, we already have the perfect place in our heads.’
And so Long Rock was born: first in Linares (more than 23 years ago), then Córdoba, and later Seville. A place with good music, good vibes and no bouncers judging your trainers.
And like any good rock story… it’s not over yet.
